Now, if you have written articles then you might have noticed the author’s box allows you to place url’s or anchor texts. This actually leads us to our next item called backlinks. This will direct traffic to your site, because readers who are interested in your topic will click on those links and land on your website. Another way to get backlinks is to leave relevant comments on similar blogs with the same niche. Google gives this more weight and importance than leaving your comments on non-related niche blogs. Another way I like to increase my traffic free of charge is a link exchange program. If you able to find a willing blog or website owner, you can place their link on your site and they will place your link on their site. I have had much success in an exchange program that has allowed me to increase my traffic while benefiting from the work of somebody else.
